Meet The Doctor

Dr. Eric Norling, D.D.S.

Dr. Norling was born and raised in Sunnyvale, California, and proudly followed his father’s footsteps into dentistry. He attended the University of Utah, where he graduated with a degree in Spanish, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman University School of Dentistry. After completing dental school in 2019, he practiced in the Salt Lake City area for over five years and then took his work to Vista, where he served patients and families in our community for over a year and a half.

Dr. Norling is passionate about service and outreach. He has participated in CDA Cares events in Napa Valley and San Jose and also helped to pilot an oral hygiene education program through the nonprofit Kaeme, traveling to orphanages in Ghana to teach children and young adults about oral health.

While he has excelled clinically from basic preventive care all the way to root canal therapy, Dr. Norling has also committed himself to unique training and thrived within the fields of guided implant placement, cosmetic dentistry, and smile design. He is a member of the California Dental Association and is SureSmile Aligner certified.

Outside the office, Dr. Norling enjoys spending time with his family while also pursuing electric guitar, surfing, weightlifting, mountain biking, and exploring new adventures with his children. His lovely wife Ally, is currently pursuing her graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling and is also a Bay Area native. Their family also includes two exuberant and loveable dogs, Tony and Java.
